How can you make hotel guests happier? For Deutsche Hospitality I helped to develop a tool, that can increase service quality (and happiness) in over 150 hotels in 20 countries.
The Challenge
Deutsche Hospitality is a company with 6 hotel brands, approximately 150 hotels and over 10,000 employees in 20 countries.

The challenge was to establish a platform that improves communication for all employees, increases efficiency, standardises, improves workflows and makes work more fun.

We asked the following questions:

  • How can we improve workflows?
  • How can team collaboration become more efficient and fun?
  • How can the processes for hotel openings be accelerated and streamlined?
  • How can SOPs (Standard Operation Procedures) be made available and maintained in one place?
The Approach
In several workshops we analysed the requirements of all stakeholders.

Based on this, we defined the key user stories and developed a prototype, which we iteratively extended with new features.
